This week our homework theme was "Greek myths." One of my favorite Greek myth characters has always been the Oracle. Her symbols are the branch and a scepter, and she is often seen leaning against a pillar, a column, or a wall. She was invoked regularly by leaders who would ask for her help in allowing them to forgive others and give them the strength to show mercy.
