About a month ago I came across a couple of bags of circulated vintage postage stamps from all around the world. I originally was going to use these in my own scrapbooking and paper figure projects, however, there were THOUSANDS of stamps in these bags, I had no idea! I made this mixed media book using repurposed cardboard for the cover (covered over with scrapbooking paper), scrapbooking items, vintage book pages, family photos, decoupaged napkins, Tim Holtz ephemera and distress ink, rubber stamps, used postage stamps, playing cards, stickers, art markers, and a few small bits of fabric, buttons, and lace. I bound it together by hand using embroidery thread.
