Hospital de Sant Pau Barcelona - 24x36 / Matte

Shot in Barcelona, Spain The Hospital de Santa Creu i de Sant Pau, commonly known as Hospital de Sant Pau, is an impressive complex constructed at the beginning of the twentieth century by Lluís Domènech I Montaner and his son. The surprising hospital was designed like a small modernist complex. The idea behind the design was to help the patients heal thanks to its pleasant atmosphere. Since 2009, it is no longer functioning as a hospital. The impressive buildings covered in red brick were designed as sober country houses surrounded by a lovely setting. Each department was housed in a different building and these were all connected by underground passageways. Prints are carefully rolled, and shipped in kraft tube boxes.

Gaudi Over Barcelona, Spain - 5x7 Inches

This Gaudi Barcelona Print was taken in Park Guell in Barcelona, Spain. This and many buildings and structures in this park, and city, were created at the cost of the people by Antonio Gaudi. His art and style are world renound and incredibly innovative. This building was one of my favorites, the park, as always, was pretty full of people, but facing the city you get a beautiful view of Barcelona and one of his amazingly detailed works of art. TITLE: Gaudi over Barcelona, Park Guell LOCATION: Park Guell, Barcelona

Cordoba - Spain - C1960 / 24.5 / 36

This poster was created to promote French travel to the Spanish city of Cordoba by artist Ricardo Anaya. A woman is dressed in a bright "traje de flamenca" while holding a decorative fan highlighting the architecture of the city, both hallmarks of traditional dress in this southern region of Spain. In her hair is a "peineta", which is a large decorative comb usually worn under a "mantila", or lace head covering. The city of Cordoba was once a Roman citadel, which went on to become a major Muslim religious city during the Middle Ages. One of the most renowned sites in Cordoba is its La Mezquita mosque, which dates back to 784 AD and is highlighted in this poster as a "unique mosque". Unfortunately, there is little known about the artist Ricardo Anaya although he did create several posters for Cordoba in the early 1960s. This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
