Make the paint mixture. I found 1 part baking powder to 3 parts paint to be the ideal consistency for me and the look I was going for, but feel free to play around to reach a consistency you like. You can also use plaster of paris instead of baking soda. Baking soda will give you a softer, more forgiving texture whereas plaster will give you a texture that is a little more bold and defined.
