12月1日からSPACE BATTLESHIP ヤマト が公開されている。74年から放映されていたテレビアニメの実写版だ。毎週日曜日の夜、確か7時半だったと思うが欠かさずに見ていた。 77年8月には劇場版が放映された。当時高校二年生だった僕は、敬老の日（9月15日）の祝日に今はなき日劇（だったと思う）に「宇宙戦艦ヤマト」を見に行った。 お金がなかったので、数寄屋橋交差点の不二屋でやたらでかい500円のアップルパン（パイではない）を買って入場、ところが超満員で後方通路の手すりに寄りかかり立ち見した覚えがある。 どうしてこんなに覚えているかというと、この日が初デートだったから。写真はその時に買ったパンフレットだが、テレビ版のストーリーとの違いなどを自慢げに話したことを覚えている。 僕にとっての「宇宙戦艦ヤマト」は、甘酸っぱい青春のひとこまなのである。
