This post really is worth a thousand words. It shows some huge gender stereotypes for men and women. Gender and how society views it is a huge problem for me, when people don't fit into "man" or "woman" it makes it so easy to discriminate and make them feel like a second class citizen.

Traditional, and typical gender stereotype - men as providers and women as homekeepers

Gender roles are described as set of norms as dictated by our society that tell us which behaviors are considered acceptable or non-acceptable on the basis of perceived sex or sexuality.

#3....{3/1/14} Androgyny, I use it as a medium/middle ground due to feeling trans but at the same time I love the concept of breaking gender roles I dont think gender roles should exist in general and I really love androgyny. It makes me happy to feel I look feminine like at least where people aren't sure if I'm female or male outside.
