We like it when people collaborate. There's something pleasing about imagining a bunch of folks with unique interests and skills embracing their differences to do something they wouldn't have been able to on their own. What's even better is when those different people with different skills happen to be two of your favourite practitioners in architecture and illustration respectively, coming together to produce a huge, colourful shed in the middle of the woods.

It's Fall, and as students are settling into another academic year, we're taking a look at some of the best and brightest education projects from the world-over.

This school by Studio Weave features a scalloped roofline and double doors that slide back to connect the classrooms with their woodland setting.

Designed by Studio Weave, this pavillion located in the garden of Northolt’s Belvue School, is a house in the woods, a domestic and dreamlike space thought for students with severe learning difficulties.

Studio Weave has added a timber-clad two-storey extension to a cottage in Devon that accommodates a creative space with views of the surrounding landscape.

Studio Weave has added a community centre to Lea Bridge Library in London, with a red-concrete colonnade and wood-lined interior.
