A tongue-tie is a congenital issue that is present just several weeks after conception. As an embryo grows, initially the tongue and the floor of the mouth are one unit. Normally, the tongue separates from the floor of the mouth. When this does not occur correctly or completely a tongue-tie results. If you suspect that you have a tongue-tie, we are your humans!
