Sometimes novelty can help keeping things fresh and also to stay engaged/present because it’s new. I was reading a study that even found that new exercises can actually create new neural pathways and may even cause nuerogenesis if the stimulus to learn or challenge is great enough. Even switching which hand you brush your teeth with can be a good stimulus for mental growth. My point is don’t be afraid to challenge yourself with new or to be a beginner again.
