Here I have turned my project right side out and poked the corners out the best I can. (I used a bone folder but you could use a knitting needle, or even a dull pencil if you are very careful.) then I ironed my project really well and folded the gap with the fabric turning inward as if it were sewn as the rest is. Take a bit of time to fold and press and if it looks wrong, just do it again. When you are happy with the fold, press and pin as shown in the picture. You are now ready to top…

You will be sewing around the edges with 1/4" seam allowance but leaving a 5" gap or so which you will use to turn your project right-side out. See the two pins on the right hand side of the fabric? They are pinned differently than the rest. That is marking the stop and starting of where I will sew.
