Vikings in Finland I've loved diving into the Viking age, and this interpretation of clothing based on 11th century grave finds in Finland is one of the simplest outfits I've made. Yet it feels so badass! Video on Youtube.

Viking reenactment: a linen undergarment, a brown woolen dress with long sleeves, and an apron dress with silk decorations and metal posaments. Also a blue coat, a checkered shawl and a pair of needle bound mittens (dyed with yellow leek). On my head I'm wearing a silk veil, fastened to a linen cap with two needles. Everything is hand sewn with waxed linen thread. The jewelry is mainly Birka (as the rest of the outfit), but the large box brooch in front is based on a find from Gotland.
