The first Village Inn opened in 1958 in Denver, Colorado. This restaurant, located in Mission, Kansas, opened in the early 1960s and is a favorite, especially for breakfasts, by locals.

I used to be in here all the time on Saturday nights, after deejaying wedding receptions, when they were open till 1:00. Now they close earlier, and I'm seldom there in time to eat.
