The “Wall of Sound” they took to shows to rock fans as hard as possible. The PA system eventually weighted 70 tons, & contain hundreds of amps and speakers that stood over three stories tall & 100 ft wide. In the late ‘60s, live sound could become muddy if too loud, so this massive sound system was created. Growing no. of musicians in the band, all wanted to be heard. The wall of speakers worked on different frequencies the band started audio revolution that changed the way we hear live music.

The most fascinating stories from our past are those that involve just one or two people. They’re those moments that we’re able to put ourselves inside so we can ask if we’d handle a situation in the same way.
