Here is a little peek into my classroom! This picture is kind of bright because of the windows, but it lets you see my classroom. And, I LOVE all the windows in my classroom. Can't get enough of the natural light! I also have a door which is very handy for doing projects outside and heading to recess! This is a good view of our carpet area. My favorite bulletin board is my Focus Wall. We are required by my district to have one for literacy. So, why not make it absolutely adorable????

Do you have a Focus Wall in your classroom? Do you know what a Focus Wall is? I used to think that nearly every primary teacher had one up in the classroom, because it just a basic teaching tool. However, I have come to realize lately that most teachers do not have one, and many have never heard of a Focus Wall at all!

You can use your focus wall or focus board to cover the full week — or you can hyperfocus with learning goals and objectives for just one subject. Teacher Amanda Burnett (@itsateacherlife on Instagram) shared this ELAR focus wall using the wit & wisdom curriculum, but you can take this in myriad directions!
