Zentangle waterfall

Lithuanian artist Vytas Neviera challenged himself to draw one image per day for the entire year. The aim is to improve his drawing skills and explore the unique style of linear drawings. Vytas is mostly inspired by nature and people, but he also studies the works of older masters, traditional Japanese and Chinese ink artworks or theories of geometry.

My response to the Diva Challenge no. 76, to zentangle our "home". This little waterfall is hidden in the bank in a little lane just down the road from me, and it's surrounded by ferns, primroses, ivy and thistles. It's one of my very favourite spots on our lovely island, and to me it's like a miniature self-contained landscape summing up all that's good here.

Experimenting with the tangle Ravel (Zentangle) while on vacation with family in Iguazu falls, one of the most astounding natural wonders of the world.
