Hulk Hogan [wrestling] is the self-proclaimed greatest wrestler of all time, since he views wrestling as a money-making enterprise and nothing else. He and Vince McMahon teamed up to promote Hulkamania and revolutionized pro wrestling to become a mainstream cartoon circus. Hulk became an icon for Generation X, and a cultural icon of the 1980s, worshiped around the world. Hogan's All-American superhero squeaky clean image was a gimmick that hid his true self, which was the exact opposite.
