Upper grades/ Middle School Spelling Menu
A spelling menu that gives students 20 options for each week. The goal is to complete enough boxes on the spelling menu each week to reach a goal of 50 points. Each box on the menu has a point value, varying based on the effort and ability. A rubric is all attached, worth 100 points to be able to grade students on weekly.
Teaching with a Touch of Twang
Vocabulary #2: This site has lots of great activities, but I especially like the one that is pictured. Have students work in small groups to put the correct term, definition, and example together. This is a great way to practice new words and get to see how they are used. It could be used in any subject!
