Do-it-yourself doesn't always mean starting from scratch. This patio bar, for example, was originally a potting bench before Cyndy of The Creativity Exchange made some transformative tweaks. To make it a functional piece of DIY patio furniture for serving beverages and appetizers, she added a standard towel bar and a bottle opener to the front, as well as three-sided channel trim under the top shelf to hang glasses.
