Fry Bread... 1 c. Flour, 1/2 tsp. Salt, 2 tsp. Baking Powder, 3/4 c. Milk, 1 tsp. Sugar (sweet opt) - OR- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder (savory opt)... Mix first 4 into a stiff dough, add more flour if needed. Roll on floured board til very thin. Cut in 2 X 3" strips; Drop in hot cooking oil*. Brown both sides. Serve hot with honey or wojapi for a sweet treat or use as taco shell or sandwich wrap. *Be sure oil is hot enough or bread will be greasy &/or undercooked in center.
