Some of the jell-o cups we placed candy sharks and swedish fish in once the jell-o had begun to set. For the others, I spread a little Cool Whip on half the ocean, then topped with crushed Graham Crackers to create waves and sand. We topped a few with fun cocktail umbrella’s and placed little glass marker mermaid’s in the water swimming to the surface.
fish scales! Or, since these are pink, aqua, and gold, mermaid scales! Isn’t that the cutest (and easiest) idea for mermaid party backdrop? For an under the sea party, you could just switch out the girlie colors for blues and greens; for a goldfish party, you could use blue and orange or gold. And of course if you just like this look you could use it with any theme – omg This is so creative!
