Engage students into writing the real names of their family members. Then, Let’s work on sentence construction. On a paper or notebook students can write sentences about their families as my example.
Puppets can´t be left out of a lesson. Use them for storytime as you read the book, as flashcards, Make different voice for each fruit and give them some personality by adding eyes and s smiling or sad mouth.
Cutouts. Make a crown out of any material that you have handy. I made mine out of corrugated cardboard. I added a pocket for the cutout. Use the crown to assign how to greet. It can be used online as well. Teacher: elbow bump! Point to the cutout on the crown and have the students greet as pointed out. Student: elbow bump! Hi!
