The orange/pink light shining through the trees and reflecting on the snow looked awesome. Trying to capture this colour whilst not over-exposing the sky or snow was very tricky. In the end I had to overexpose the sky in order to keep detail in the snow. I did try HDR but it didn't work very well for this.
