Heat the cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer but does not reach a boiling point. 2. Mix the cocoa powder and sugar: In a separate bowl until the mixture is well combined. 3. Slowly, I pour the hot cream into the cocoa powder mixture, continuously whisking to prevent the formation of lumps. 4. Add the butter and vanilla extract, stir until the butter is fully melted and incorporated, add vanilla extract and mix thoroughly. 5. Let it cool at room temperature for approximately 10-15 min to thicken, making it easier to spread or pipe onto desserts.
Chocolate Mousse
Indulge in this rich and creamy chocolate mousse, made with dark chocolate and a hint of coffee, perfect for any chocolate lover! Dissolve instant coffee in a small amount of hot water and let it cool. In a bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form; set aside. Melt dark chocolate over a double boiler and let it cool slightly. In another bowl, whisk egg yolks and vanilla extract, then gradually mix in the melted chocolate and coffee. Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully combined. Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
