Easter Tree: Celebrating the beauty of Easter and spring with a tree full of decorations for display. A basket with an inner pot of spring foliage planted in it holds a porcelain cross amidst hidden Easter eggs, a bunny, an Easter basket and spring flowers. Handmade decorations of Easter eggs, baskets, a bonnet, birds, butterflies, baby chicks and bunnies hang from the flower covered branches. Easter's promises of new life & new growth resonate and gives a cheery addition to my home.

Easter Tree decorations: Of course the cross is the foundation of it all and what Easter is all about. It takes center stage.

Easter Tree decorations: Another fav - cream colored lace & ribbon on a peach egg. Add a pearl touch ... simple & elegant.

Easter Tree decorations: What would Easter be without a traditional Easter bonnet? I remember that song every time I look at it! These little hats can be found at any craft store. I added some eyelet ruffle, pearls, ribbons &, bows, and (of course) flowers. Reminds me of precious little girls skipping along & picking flowers in their new little dresses and hats!

Easter Tree decorations: This is my favorite Easter egg on the tree. I used pastel colors with mostly ribbon and a few added flowers. I like to use the 'velvet' covered eggs because they give a softer look & feel.

Easter Tree decorations: One side of the base shows the foliage and another hidden porcelain egg. The foliage is a ground cover we planted in the yard last year - I don't remember the name of it - hubby won't miss it! ;) I water them with a mister bottle, so it never really drains off water. I just tucked silk flowers into the spangum moss around everything, along with some silk greenery to conceal the trunk.

Easter Tree decorations: I glued bows and flowers to both sides of a small basket and added some grass and speckled malted milk ball Easter egg shaped candy. My grandson loves to inspect the tree and decorations to find the candy!
