Starry Night Painted Deer Skull no. 3 | Etsy
This listing is for a real deer skull with a chilly night sky design painted on it. I hand painted it using acrylics and it has been sealed with a non-yellowing varnish. My initials and the date are on the bottom of the skull. Skulls I paint have imperfections such as missing teeth or minor damage but they are solid and stable. Still a perfect addition to any collection of macabre art or oddities. Thanks for looking!
How to Skin a Deer Head for a European Mount
A European mounted deer head is one of the simplest yet most elegant ways of displaying your hunting accomplishments. European mounts are simply the white skull of the animal mounted on a board or the wall. They are tasteful, inexpensive, and so easy to do that even the newest of hunters and skinners can prepare them.
Dead Tree Sunset Painted Deer Skull
This listing is for a real deer skull on which I painted a colorful sunset behind a leafless tree. Hundreds of tiny branches and roots curl around the natural shape of the skull. An incredible amount of detail and time goes into each of my painted skulls, especially with this particular design. It is a very unique piece, hand painted with acrylic and sealed with a non-yellowing varnish. My initials and the date are painted on the underside of the skull. Happy to send more detailed photos…
