Ross Martin (born Martin Rosenblatt, March 22, 1920 – July 3, 1981) was an American radio, voice, stage, film and television actor. Martin was known for portraying Artemus Gordon on the CBS Western series The Wild Wild West, which aired from 1965 to 1969. On July 3, 1981, Martin suffered a fatal heart attack after a game of tennis at a club in Ramona, California.
Freddie Dalton Thompson August 19, 1942 – November 1, 2015) was an American politician, attorney, lobbyist, columnist, actor and radio personality. Thompson, a Republican, served in the United States Senate representing Tennessee from 1994 to 2003, and was a GOP presidential candidate in 2008. Thompson was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL), a form of cancer, in 2004.On the morning of November 1, 2015, Thompson died at the age of 73 from a recurrence of lymphoma.
