The last of our blueberry harvest pies high on these Belgium waffles. 🧇 Parker asked for waffles this morning so I whipped up this super easy recipe on the blog (linked in stories). I didn’t have buttermilk on hand so just subbed in almond milk and threw in a smashed banana too. If you have flour, an egg, milk and butter/oil you can make these too in less than 5 mins. Topped w bloobs, obvi.
If you need easy “pantry staple” comfort food recipe look no further than this tasty chicken pot pie recipe from @pinchofyum. The boys helped me make the “soup” and biscuits. It was a fun little recipe using ingredients we had on hand— including canned peas and homemade chicken stock. The biscuit recipe is really simple and for sure impressed the hubs. #quarentinelife #chickenpotpie #biscuits #pantrystaples #cookingathome
Felt like having my oatmeal in a different form this morning. 😋 Made @kellyjonesrd’s PB Banana Bites this morning which is normally everything I put in my bowl of oats in energy ball form. Keeping them in the fridge for a cool snack or breakfast this week.

Since everyone’s posting their daily work from home/ homeschooling schedules I figured I’d share ours. I have toddlers so that takes a little pressure off with the “homeschooling” (PTL), but we are trying to do something structured every day like practicing the letters in our names or playing with play dough or making muffins. This picture doesn't excite me.. it's circa 2014 but sometimes oldies are goodies and there's no need to change it. This "Best Pancakes Ever, Seriously Gluten Free Buttermilk Pancakes" recipe (yep that's what I named it back then... screw SEO rules 😂), always receives the best reviews on my site so bam! Go make yo'self a stack of the best pancakes you'll ever eat.
I was talking a mom friend the other day about how my toddler acts like such an $&?@ on.the.daily. We’re at that 4yo phase where they can articulate their feelings and deliver straight up sass just to tick you off. Don’t get me wrong he’s incredibly sweet and can lay on the charm but man oh man are we in a phase... and I know one day I’m going to really miss his sweet and extra saucy 4yo self. Anyone else relate!?
