465K views · 4.9K reactions | Marry Me Chicken Pies Do you remember the 'Marry Me Sausage Pie' I made the other week? So many of you asked for a chicken version - so here it is!! I decided to do individual pies this time. You don't have to put hearts on top...but just look at them! 🥹 This version has a little bit less sauce and I used cheddar instead of parmesan this time, so I've written up the recipe below! Let me know what you think! A x Feeds 4-6 500g chicken breast, cut into medium pieces 1 onion finely sliced 3 cloves of garlic finely chopped 1 tbsp flour 300ml double cream 300ml chicken stock 1/2 tsp oregano 10 sundried tomatoes finely chopped 50g finely grated cheddar cheese 50g fresh spinach A sheet of ready rolled puff pastry 1 egg beaten Heat a drizzle of oil in a large, non-stick pan and add the chicken. Fry on a medium heat for around 5 minutes, or until no longer pink. Remove from the pan (It won't be 100% cooked through at this stage) and set aside. Add the onion to the pan and fry for 5 minutes until soft. Stir in the garlic for the final minute. Stir in the flour until it disappears. Slowly add the chicken stock a little at a time, only adding more when it comes to the boil. Stir continuously. When all the stock is used, stir in the cream, oregano, sun-dried tomatoes and grated cheese. Gently bring to the boil, stirring until the cheese has melted. Season with salt and pepper Return the chicken to the pan with the spinach and give it a good stir. Divide the filling between 4 deep individual pie dishes, approximately 12cm across Heat the oven to 190C (fan) Roll out the pastry. Cut out 4 squares of pastry that will just fit on top of your Pie dishes. Lay them on top of the dish and press the corners down so it stays in place. Cut 8 heart shapes and 8 slightly smaller heart shapes (you can do any combination you like) out of the pastry. Arrange them on top of the pastry square, pressing them gently together. Bake in the oven for 20 -25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown on top. #chicken #chickenrecipes #pies #baking #pastry #dinnerideas #cooking #familydinner #familydinnerideas #dinnertonight #homemade #comfortfood #delicious #sotasty #easydinner #mealplan | Amy Sheppard Food | Amy Sheppard Food · Original audio

I'm using jasmine rice because that's what we love here but you can use regular white rice. You can use anything you like. On top of that, you're going to add two cans of cream of chicken soup. I have the family size here so I only need one and you're just going to go directly on top of that rice there. Then, we're going to take some chicken broth. I'm using low sodium here but you can use whatever you like and we're going to fill up half of that can with the chicken broth and just pour that directly on and we're going to give everything a nice, good mix. We want to mix in that broth with that cream of chicken soup with that rice and this is the perfect dump and bake recipe. It only takes a few minutes of prep time and your family is going to absolutely love it. Now, we're going to take about two and a half pounds of chicken breast. You can use full chicken breast. You can use chicken tenders, whatever you like. If you're going to use a large chicken breast, I like to score the top with chicken to give it those nice marks. It's going to help it cook beautifully. Going to season our chicken, a little bit of salt, a little bit of pepper, little bit of garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Now, you take your washed broccoli and you can use frozen broccoli. You can use fresh whatever you like. If you're going to use fresh, this is just such a nice life hack. You just use scissors to cut these florets and just put em all over here. This is going to be so quick and easy you guys and I'm just going to push this broccoli down into our cream here and that looks so good. Now, we're going to get one packet of onion soup mix. This is going to make it taste so good and we're just going to pour this over everything. Make sure you get some on that chicken, on the broccoli, on the rice. Look at that you guys. This is going to be so incredible. We're going to cover this with aluminum foil, put it into a 350° oven for one hour then we're going to take it out of the oven, uncover it, and add some delicious cheese. Alright, it's been an hour and Everything smells wonderful. Let's take a look. Look at how good that looks. Everything is cooked perfectly. We're going to go ahead and add some delicious shredded cheese on top. We're going to do about a cup and a half. Get everything covered in this cheese. We're going to throw this back in the oven uncovered for about five minutes just to melt that cheese on top and we'll come back and dive right in. Alright, our cheese is bubbly. This thing is done. Look at that you guys. We're just going to grab a nice piece of chicken here and look at how good that looks. Wow. Get that cooked rice, little bit of broccoli. Alright, let's try it out and there you have it. Our cheesy chicken and rice bake is done. Everything is cooked perfectly. We're just going to grab a nice, juicy bite of chicken here. Let's try it out. That is so good, juicy, flavorful chicken. That onion soup mix really comes through. Let's try the rice. Moist rice, delicious, and that fresh broccoli. Everything is so good. This was so easy to make. You guys have to make this today.

24K views · 3.9K reactions | SAVE my easy Chicken Pastries! Well, my mum’s recipe! She made these for me when I was little and now my kids love them too. 😋 INGREDIENTS -roast chicken breast -half head steamed broccoli -200g of pan fried bacon -150g of tasty cheese -small tub of cream -small can of corn -6 sheets of puff pastry METHOD -preheat oven to 180 -steam small florets of broccoli -pan fry diced bacon -shred the chicken breast into a bowl -add the cooled broccoli and bacon -add corn, cheese and cream and stir -lay out pastry and when it’s defrosted, make the pillows as shown in video ensuring it’s well sealed. -place in oven until pastry is golden brown, approx 30 mins Recipe note: steaming broccoli and pan frying bacon is personal choice! Just make sure broccoli is really small if not steaming. So is the spinach for fussy eaters 😉 ENJOY! Who’s going to try it? 😋 #recipesforkids #familycooking #dinnerideas | Adele Barbaro
