This is my version of a Northern Georgia made banded powder horn. The tip is made of antler.

Currently, I am not taking orders for custom work.

More research has to be done to determine the attribution for this horn. It is difficult to point to a specific culture or area as to where this horn was .

This is a pewter mounted Western Carolina applied tip horn done for Ian Pratt. It is 14 inches on the outside curve with a figured black walnut plug. Very small horn tip remnant made a nice size priming or salt horn. The base is turned from ebony and the plug from lignum vitae. The cascable is threaded into the base for easy filling of the horn.
