Ceramic Woman Sculpture. 14 3/4" W. Iran, 1350-800 B.C.E. The tall attenuated body with exaggerated wide squat bottom and stumpy legs. Tiny raised arms, pointed head, possibly once wore earrings. Nipples, belly button but no indication of genitals as in other cultures' fertility figurines. LACMA
