Just some cool ideas I found for teaching Art for grades 2 and 3
2nd Grade Op-Art Landscape
My second graders used oil pastels to create warm and cool op-art landscapes like this one. The colors shift as you walk past it! Simple perspective makes this already popular project just a little different than the version that I taught last year. Jaws dropped when I showed the students how easy it could be.

Winter Value Landscapes (2nd)
I think out of every project I teach - this one has to be one of my absolute favorites. EVERY child is successful on some level.. and each piece of artwork created is gorgeous.
