Islington and Hackney Housing association asked me and my brother to revitalise a grey and bleak wall in there houseing complex in Hackney. We chose to base the mural on the history of the area, which during the late 17 century was the largest Exotic plant hot house 'Loddiges Nursey' importing and growing a record number of palms, orchids and trees, pre dating Kew gardens which changed the horticulture landscape in Europe.
