While Coxos was bearing some tooth, a handful of well known Portuguese watermen and travelling Europeans alike got stuck into some solid water for a memorable session abundant in tubes. Amongst the pack was Nic Von Rupp, Aritz Aranburu, Maxime Huscenot, Frederico Morais, Vasco Ribeiro, Gony Zubyzarreta, Miguel Blanco and Tomás Fernandes.
