Yes, this works! So simple! Wad up a few plastic grocery bags inside a paper lunch bag and hang in areas where you don't want wasps. They apparently think it's a hornets nest and stay away. I have them near all my exterior doors. Yeah, I know it looks a little junky, but I greatly prefer it to wasps building their nests at my door!
