قدیمیترین کلیسای تهران در چهارراه مولوی قدیمیترین کلیسای تهران، کلیسای تادئوس و بارتوقیموس است که در سال ۱۸۰۸میلادی (۱۱۸۷ خورشیدی) ساخته شده است. بانی این کلیسا، ده خانواده ارمنی موسوم به «جام بُران» بودند که به دعوت فتحعلیشاه برای انجام کارهای شیشهبری کاخهای سلطنتی به تهران آمدند. آنها از شاه خواستند که اجازه دهد کلیسایی را برای انجام مراسم دینی خود بسازند و او نیز با این درخواست موافقت کرد.

The Temple of Jupiter was the most important Roman temple, as the Parthenon in Athens has been the most important Greek temple. The first temple burned in 83 BC, during the civil wars. Fourth building was completed by Domitian. It is thought to have lasted more or less intact for over four hundred years, until all pagan temples were closed by emperor Theodosius I in 392.
Remains of Temple of Venus and Roma, 121-135, Rome. The semi-dome at the left far-end is one of the cella's nich. Temple of Venus and Roma was designed by Hadrian and built between 121 and 135. Venus has been the favorite goddess of Hardian. The temple was burned down in 3rd century AD and then renovated by the emperor Maxentius in 307 AD.
Roman Forum | Arch of Titus, 82 AD, Rome. The Arch of Titus is located on the Via Sacra at the Roman Forum. It was constructed around AD 82 by the Roman Emperor Domitian shortly after the death of his older brother Titus, to commemorate Titus' victories, including the Siege of Jerusalem in 70 AD. The arch was restored by architect Giuseppe Valadier in 19th century.
Roman Forum | Curia Julia. The Curia Julia or Senate House was begun by Caesar in 44 BC and completed by Augustus but that building was destroyed by the fire in 283 AD and restored it between 284 and 305 AD. It was turned into a church in 7 century AD. During the 17th century, it was remodeled into a baroque church and became Saint Hadrian. The Curia Julia was reconstructed into its original ancient form by Mussolini in 1930s.
