Tile, from Iran. Date of creation: 1444, Date accessed: July 19, 2018. This tile once formed part of the decoration of a madrasah (religious college). The designer used geometric principles to structure the pattern and used the ‘cuerda seca’ (dry cord) technique. Stylized plant motifs are arranged around a pair of interlaced stars.
