Paper Airplane Target... or you can make a long target that's a carrier deck. We did that for a scout function  it was a big hit. Several parents helped them make their planes. I had several examples made ahead so the boys could pick the type of plane they wanted to make. Just make sure your helpers are clear on the directions. Exploding sticks: Arrange 4 sticks into the pattern shown at website. Add another stick to the top to secure the end. This stick must go diagonally across to hold down the ends of the top horizontal stick and the right vertical stick. Build the chain by adding craft sticks, one at a time to each side.
