The camellia (Camellia japonica L) was designated the state flower of Alabama in replacing the original state flower adopted, in 1927 (goldenrod). A native of China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan, the camellia is cultivated in the southeastern United States.
FIELD OF LAVENDER in the southeastern county of Kent, England. I imagine going here and smelling the lavender, which would make me forever think of England. I already associate lavender with sweet childhood memories, and this would make it all the better.
