Given their roles in the Late Cretaceous ecosystem, it’s possible that T. rex and Triceratops may have avoided direct confrontations when possible. Triceratops likely relied on its horns and frill for defense against predators like T. rex, while T. rex would have been more interested in hunting weaker or smaller prey. So, while they may have encountered each other, they probably didn’t actively seek out confrontations unless it was a matter of hunting or defending territory.
