Diamond tiara formerly in the collection of Countess Costanza Pasolini Zanelli Magnaguti. Designed as three floral sprays, set with cushion-shaped, circular-cut and rose diamonds, each spray is detachable and may be worn as a brooch.

Diamond tiara, ca. 1905          Designed as a series of seven graduated circles millegrain-set with rose stones, each inset with a rose and circular-cut diamond wreath, to a cushion-shaped diamond center set in cut-down collets, further decorated by foliate motifs similarly-set,     the detachable circular elements can be worn as brooches, fittings deficient; the cushion-shaped diamond collets unscrew and fit a necklace front mount.

This rare ruby and diamond tiara comes from the Ottoman Empire, Turkey, c. Its openwork frame supports a large diamond floral rosette in the center surrounded by diamond petals and floral sprays. On top, the crown boasts a star and crescent.
