This is a 25 page set of plans meant to help you fabricate a flatbed for your truck. These plans involve a rich description and step-by-step instructions supplemented with hand drawn sketches. The plans list potential costs, needed supplies, and important considerations. There is a strong focus on techniques and tips-and-tricks that will help you create a flatbed for your truck.
These plans begin by describing how to pull the bed off your truck, move to the creation of the flatbed, cover how to build a headache rack, and detail the steps needed in fabricating the tail section. Basic wiring steps and painting methods are also covered. This is an intermediate project requiring some welding and fabrication experience.

This design is simple and minimal, embedding a wood deck inside a steel frame. The style of this build draws from flatbeds found in the oil fields with a truggy off-road look mixed in.
