Carlos Vives’ ‘Corazón Profundo’ receives five Latin Grammy nominations
Carlos Vives is walking into the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Grammy night as the favorite to take home an armful of awards. His five nominations are only matched by Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas and producer Javier Garza, but Vives is the most likely candidate to be crowned the new King of Latin pop.
In the current issue of Connect magazine, I was pleasantly surprised to see a photo of my Hire Like You Just Beat Cancer presentation at RetailNOW 2012 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The even better surprise was the quote from successful business owner Dave McCarthy: "Great ideas on testing of applicants before the interview process. It will help us better evaluate the raw talent and true interests of candidates."
