Longman and Eagle, so happy to finally meet you. I've heard so much about you. Dark matter coffee, homemade Bloody Mary mix, and the most veggie-packed quiche I have ever eaten. Did we just become best friends? Quiche: buttered leeks, goat cheese, beech mushrooms, haricot vert, English peas, pickled ramps, Brussels sprouts, roasted beets, tumbling carrots and ramp top purée. May not be gluten-free or paleo, but I can't imagine anything better for my health on a Saturday morning.
Le perfect summer lunch at Le pain quotidien. This is the mango gazpacho soup organic corn salad and avocado spread on gluten free crackers. Every bite was perfect from the mango slices in my gazpacho to the chia seeds on my avocado. Oh! And the sparkling hibiscus tea- I could have a whole jug. Much needed little getaway spot in the hub bub of the French market at Ogilvie.
