UNICEF is engaged with UN and other partners to ramp up access to shelter and essential health and nutritional services.

It’s a hot, dusty afternoon, and I have spent the entire day running around the camp coordinating with the local government and other partners around the emergency response. Six-year old Paulina (r) just received her UNICEF learners’ kit at the Chiaquelane accommodation centre in Chokwe. Her best friend Marcia, also 6, is still waiting for hers.
