I loved my baton! I remember twirling in a Christmas Parade. Before there were flag girls in the school band there were majorettes.


I wouldn't wear Jelly Shoes today, but I used to have a pair in EVERY color! I wore them all the time; they were my favorite shoe.

No these aren't bb's, they actually were decorations for cookies ~ and they nearly broke you teeth!

Dragees - a type of "sprinkle" used in cake and cookie decorating! They were small, hard, silver balls of candy!

For a very short time I remember having a Tetherball pole at my elementary school. I wasn't one to ever play but I would watch. I believe two or more people hit the ball on the string as hard and fast as you could and have it spin around the pole. And if you “accidently” hit someone with the ball — you got bonus points!!

I remember there being a tether ball on the playground of my elementary school. I was the champ, being tall and competitive. My kids have tether ball at their school, too. I'm still better than all the kids, LOL.

HOLLLY HOBBY I had a Holly Hobby lunch box in 2nd grade.

This brought back lots of memories, I loved my Holly Hobby doll! {k} Absolutely loved Holly Hobbie as a child!

Chinese Checkers in a Tin with Regular Checkers on the other side and marbles and red/black checkers inside. I loved playing Chinese Checkers! Getting the tin open could prove to be an adventure at times.But well worth it.

pom pom ball socks - the little ball over the edge of your shoe helped keep the socks from sliding down on your foot.

pom pom socks - Still wear these :) also known as "Tennis Socks" When you play tennis it prevents the sock from slipping down under your feet.
