Stunning Queen of Bavaria crown contains huge pearls and large diamonds. As part of a republican Germany, Bavaria has not had a monarch since 1918 but the Bavarian Crown Jewels are still on show in the Treasury of the Residenz Palace in Munich
The Crown of Eric XIV (before a twentieth century refurbishment). The crown of the King of Sweden was manufactured in Stockholm in 1561 by a Flemish goldsmith named Cornelius ver Welden for the Swedish King Eric XIV.
Mikimoto Pearl Crown - This crown was crafted by Mikimoto Company, the world's great manufacturer of cultured pearls, in 1978 to commemorate the anniversary of the discovery of their method of culturing pearls.
The crown of Queen Alexandra - 1902 - first consort crown after the long reign of Victoria - The arches were detachable so the crown could be worn as a circlet. Later Consorts had their own crowns. This one had its diamonds replaced with paste.
