Slow Cooker Cranberry Poached Pears - Our family makes this delicious dessert every holiday season. Last night we invited friends over and served these festive pears warm with a dollop of Whipped Topping (non-dairy). They were BIG HIT!
Place 2 cups water, 1 cup caster sugar and 1 vanilla bean over med-high heat and bring to the boil. Let simmer for 3 mins. Add 4 pears (peeled, halved & cored) and cook for 3 mins each side. Serve with poaching syrup and thick cream
