Three tiaras sold by private sale by Sotheby's, from the estate of Mary, Duchess of Roxburghe.

The UK arm of Sotheby’s gave its US parent a massive million dividend last year, up from million the previous year, as the auction house saw profit and turnover flourish.

CARTIER TIARA TO BE AUCTIONED BY SOTHERBY'S - Employee's of Sotheby's auction house wear diamond tiaras from the estate of Mary, Duchess of Roxburghe, that were made by Cartier in the 1930s during a press event in London on Wednesday. The tiara worn at left a will be sold at auction in Geneva, Switzerland on May 12, with an estimated value of $306,000-505,000.

Interrupting normal service to show three diamond and a ruby tiara formerly the property of Mary, Duchess of Roxburghe, sold at private auction by Sotheby's, one art deco, two belle epoque.
