Caral Pyramids. Caral, Peru was home to one of the oldest American civilizations. About 120 miles from modern day Lima, the area was home to a civilization more than 5,000 years ago --- roughly the same time major civilizations sprang up in the Nile River valley. And no, I am not hinting that there is a tie, or aliens were involved. As an archaeologist, I find it infuriating that many "modern" people cannot grasp that ancient people were just as smart and capable as we are.

The Lomas Rishi Cave on Barabar Hill. The Barabar Caves are the oldest surviving rock-cut caves in India, mostly dating from the Mauryan period, and some with Ashokan inscriptions, located in the Bela Ganj Block of Gaya District of Bihar, India, 24 km north of Gaya.
The "Band of Holes" consists of approximately 6,900 unexplained man-sized holes carved into the barren rock near Pisco Valley, Peru on a plain called Cajamarquilla. It dates back to ancient times and remain a mystery much like neighboring Nazca Lines and Machu Piccu best appreciated from the air and satellite imagery. You might want to locate them with Google Earth.
