A beautiful Red Kite (milvus milvus). The lucky Europeans, and people in the United Kingdom, Ireland and that area of the world who get to see this beautiful, agile bird of prey. This particular photo was taken during a snow fall in Sweden by Henrik Just.

Red Kite. These birds are incredibly fast and agile and they use their large fan-shaped forked tails to provide steering.

Kite's namesake (Red Kite -- The Red Kite was saved from national extinction by one of the world's longest running protection programmes, and has now been successfully re-introduced to England and Scotland.
